Ted Danson has been tapped to receive the 2025 Carol Burnett Award honor at The Golden Globes Awards.

Danson, an Emmy and Golden Globes award winner, will receive the trophy with Carol Burnett’s name on it to recognize his contributions to TV on or off screen. Along with 2025 Cecil B. DeMille Award winner Viola Davis, Danson will be honored at a gala dinner on Jan. 3, 2025 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Danson earned Golden Globes for best performance by an actor in a limited series or TV movie for the film Something About Amelia in 1985, and won for best performance by an actor in a TV series for his star turn as Boston bartender Sam Malone on the popular sitcom Cheers in 1990 and 1991.

The cast of Laguna Beach just celebrated 20 years since they graduated high school!

MTV‘s 2004 reality series followed the lives of a group of high school students who must contend with love triangles, strained friendships and questions about their future beyond their lives in California.

Original stars Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth, Stephen Colletti, Morgan Olsen, Trey Phillips and Christina Schuller all graduated on the show in 2004 during the first season.

Saturday Night Live will be closing out 2024 with some big stars!

While it was previously announced that Paul Mescal will be hosting the December 7th episode of the long-running NBC sketch comedy series with musical guest Shaboozey, the hosts and musical guests for the final two episodes of 2024 have been revealed.

True Blood quickly became one of the biggest TV shows of the noughties when it premiered in 2008.

The 31-year-old “Slow Hands” singer and Amelia Woolley held hands as they left a restaurant after a quiet dinner date on Sunday (December 1) in the Notting Hill neighborhood of London, England.

For their outing, Niall sported a black jacket with olive green-colored pants while Amelia donned a black coat-dress with knee-high black boots.

If you didn’t know, Niall and Amelia have been linked since 2020 and made their public debut while attending the Horan & Rose Gala in September 2021.

Warner Bros. actually made the call.

“They don’t want a competing Superman product in the marketplace,” The CW’s president of entertainment Brad Schwartz told The Wrap several months ago. “They” refers to the studio Warner Bros. and the “competing product” refers to James Gunn‘s upcoming Superman movie starring David Corenswet. It looks like the studio did not want multiple Superman stories out there at once.
